New picture series Schönbrunn Palace
We are pleased to present a new series of artistically reworked photos in painting form. Many of the famous squares and places in and around the castle area have been depicted. The photo paintings of the series Schönbrunn Palace impress with their creative design and harmonious coloring.
Historical location
The Schönbrunn Palace, in its present form built in the 18th century as a summer residence for Empress Maria Theresa, has been located in the 13th district of Vienna, Hietzing, since 1892. Its name derives from a saying attributed to Emperor Matthias. Schönbrunn is the largest palace and one of the most important and most visited cultural assets in Austria. The palace and the approximately 160 hectare park have been part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage since 1996.
Historical Vienna
The art series Schönbrunn Palace perfectly fits into the portfolio of historical photo paintings of the collection ArteDei.STÄDTE and adds another interesting object to this art collection.
