Returns & Right of Withdrawal

We want you to be completely satisfied with your selection at ArteDei. The works offered in our shop are limited standard editions and are produced in the selected size and edition line after the order has been received.

Right of withdrawal for standard editions

If you are a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (for example by email or letter):

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the deadline expires.

Exclusion only for genuine custom-made items

For the standard sizes and edition lines offered in the shop, the statutory right of withdrawal generally also applies even if the work is only produced after the order has been received. Selecting a standard variant specified by ArteDei does not in itself constitute a customer specification.

In accordance with Section 18(1)(3) of the FAGG, there is no right of withdrawal only for goods that are made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs, for example expressly agreed special dimensions, personalisations, or other adjustments that deviate from the standard range. We will expressly inform you of such an exclusion before you place your order.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of the cheapest standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal. For the reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

Return shipment

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the deadline expires. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Please pack the work securely for transport. You only have to pay for any loss in value if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at office@artedei.com. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
